Guarino will discuss and answer questions about his work on display and share his personal thoughts about his artistic process with the public. Glen is a nationally recognized furniture artist. His work has been published in books, magazines and has been seen on T.V. Six of the 23 pieces being display have been included in N.J. state museum shows. This is a wonderful opportunity to see a large collection of Guarino's work at one time.
Guarino prefers to bring out the material's natural beauty by using a clear hand rubbed finish to accentuate the color and the grain of the wood. He very often uses rescued lumber. This love of the entire process from the design stage to making of each piece himself, and then delivering the finished work of art to the client is very rewarding. He has said that seeing his clients smile when he unwraps the furniture inspires him to design the next piece.
Guarino enjoys designing & making furniture for corporate, private & public clients He also exhibits at galleries & museums. Guarino specialize in museum quality, one-of-a kind furniture with a natural finish.
