I'm a wood carver and sculptor in many medium. I've jioned the Timber Home Nation to promote the addition and inclusion of wood carved beams and sculpted elements to the timber home construction process. I've been wood carving since 1974. I also have a mechanical engineering degree from Umass, Amherst, MA. I can carve a beam to be anything desired and still maintain a design cross section of the designed support beam.
