Thanks for your feedback! You're right -- most of the homes we feature are larger, but we do try to include at least one smaller home in each issue. I'm not sure if you're a subscriber, but if you grab a copy of the December issue of Timber Home Living, which should be on newsstands through December 13, you'll find the Da Silva home (pg. 30), a gorgeous home that stands at 1,540 square feet. Our October issue featured the Eveland home (pg. 44), which was 2,500 square feet, and our August issue featured the Currier home (pg. 54) at 2,008 square feet. All offer great lessons in efficiency and luxury for homeowners trying to maintain a smaller footprint.
It's true, however, that the vast majority of the submissions we receive are of homes larger than 2,000 square feet, and that gets reflected in the magazine. But we're always on the lookout for exemplary smaller homes (in fact, when we receive a submission of a smaller home, we're usually more likely to take it than one of the giants).
