My wife and myself are in the process of designing a new timber frame home. We wanted the home to be in the English Tudor style but the designer we have been working with does not seem to understand the style. Are there any framing companies out there that have actually built a timber framed Tudor?

Dear Nicholas,
We have, in fact, been involved in the study of and the fabrication and installation of an English Tudor (or half timbered) structure, complete with griffins (see picture). There are, of course, many options for finish and such, but we can certainly discuss them with you if you would like.
Tony Zaya in our design department worked very closely with the client of the home in the attached pictures. I'm sure he would love to discuss your design ideas for your home. You can reach him at 717-755-2990 or details@lancotf.com. Please let me know if I can provide you with any further information. If you'd like to browse our website, please see www.lancotf.com.
All the best,

Thanks for your reply. The English Tudor your working on looks fantastic. Our designer has apparently brought in a Tudor expert to try to get our project back on track but if things don't pan out we'll definitely be in touch.
Thanks again
Nick
No problem at all. We are here if you need us and have built up that way many times. We are happy to consult with your architect if need be.
All the best,

Beautiful looking English Tudor style timber home! I know one day we will be as fortunate to design and build such a fine looking structure...
Sincerely, Ford Hall
